The Professional Driver Training Course at Carolina CDL Training Center is ideal for individuals with no prior knowledge or experience in the trucking industry. Our course will teach students how to drive a Class A combination vehicle and prepare them for their written Permit tests, pre-trip inspection, and driving test, which are all necessary components of the commercial driver’s license examination. During the program, students will also learn about commercial motor vehicle laws and regulations, electronic and paper logbooks, sliding tandems, chaining up, and how to operate a reefer trailer to prepare them for future employment. This school was God sent to my husband and I. Great price! The people were very accommodating. The instructor (Ron Stills) is a character! Not a dull moment with him. He creates a fun and relaxing environment for you to learn. I had never driven a manual before and I learned how to drive that beast with 10 speed! They don’t have automatic as of now. Not sure in the future. Passed my test in North Carolina first try! Definitely recommend.
